The stomping ground of Ramsay the Dachshund!

almost home

I’ve recently been in contact with our breeder, who informs me that Ramsay is doing well!  The plan is for him and sister Jazzie (along with the 11 other pups born in August) to go for their final vet check and deworming on October 20th.  New Mama and I are scheduled to drive out to Le Caring’s on October 30th to bring our little brat(wurst) home!  In the meantime, we’ve continued to stockpile Ramsay’s area with toys and supplies. Finding the original hexagonal play area a little too small, we picked up an extra pair of panels to make his stomping ground a little bigger.  Here’s the end result - a full 36 square feet of Ramsay rompin' room.:

You’d be surprised (or maybe not, if you know us well enough) to know that it took New Mama and I a full 30min to figure out that, in order to accommodate the extra Ramsay room in our basement without moving furniture around, all we had to do was convert from a hexagonal configuration to a square!  Textbook example of flatulent encephalopathy - more commonly referred to as a “brain fart”.  We WILL be keeping our day jobs.
Fun fact:  Jazzie and Ramsay’s original names, as given to them by Le Caring’s, were “Bonnie and Clyde”!
