life imitating...life?

While reviewing material in the "Obstetrics and Gynecology" chapter (for continuing medical education purposes...ug), I came across a picture of a fetus in the womb that looked something like this:

This was followed by a strange sense of deja-vu.  I figured I had just been sitting there for too long, and got up to take a break.  All became clear when I walked across the room to find this:


Ramsay enjoys hiding under blankets on the couch, and spends much of his (non-daycare) days snoozing there while NewMama and I are at work.  Recently, I started to roll his blankets into a donut to simulate a dog bed, so that he could rest his neck on the edge and still cuddle inside it.  It seems the blanket-donut gives dogbert some womb-like comfort as well!

this is hilarious! so true, they really get into the fetal position so well. and they are our babies :)

yes it is true, the mamas see us as their babies! Of course, we are actually their brave protectors.
