I am now a practicing physician and a newly-wed. My wife has just finished her first year of residency. It’s a little early yet for us to have children, but we have decided to start our family with a dog. The choice of breed is a no-brainer - Dachshund all the way! It is from this inspiration that our blog is conceived: 2 docs and their doxie - docs' dox.
We have been in contact with a local breeder and have put dibs on a puppy from one of three litters to be delivered this month. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a red smooth male mini, but are keeping our options open.
