clutter control

As is the norm with adolescents of many species, Ramsay doesn't do a great job of picking up after himself.  There have been many times when I have gotten up in the middle of the night for a drink, only to stumble over some random toy that dogbert left in the middle of the hall just before retiring to his crate for the evening.  Good thing NewMama is a sound sleeper!

To help remedy the clutter issue, NewMama and I found an interesting-looking Ottoman with a lift-up cushion and storage underneath!  Clutter?  Controlled!  While awake, Ramsay likes the cushion open, as he tends to take every single thing out of the Ottoman.  At night, everything gets tucked away, making my late-night excursions less of a ruckus!  We wonder what Ramsay thinks of his new bin...

I love it! And how perfect that he uses it himself. have you taught him to put the toys away at night;-)

M&J: thanks! Ramsay can't keep the thing closed! he always has to have it open so that he can systematically take a toy out every few minutes. unfortunately it's a little tall for him to get completely in by himself - but that doesn't stop him from trying! we're going to see if we can get the ottoman's legs trimmed so he has better access to it. good idea - training him to put away the toys at night! will have to consider that one.

good to hear that Jeeves is doing better! slow and steady as he goes!
