IN the pool, OUT of the pool, laps AROUND the pool. Repeat over and over again. After having so much fun playing "Doxwatch", we found our little hero favoring a front paw and a back paw. Upon closer inspection we found that Ramsay had worn a couple of his pads raw on the concrete! Tapping into combined doxie-mom and Pediatrician mode, NewMama sprung into action, slathering the paws with petroleum jelly and dressing the front one with a baby footie-sock (it had rubber pads so dogbert wouldn't slip on the floors!). Our vet would be proud...

Happy Daddy's Day, Fred! I'm sure Baxter has some energy left to make mischief for your special day;-)
Ramsay, you're going to have to learn how to lounge at or in the pool and give up your lifeguarding duties.
Ramsay say it aint so! We're soooo sorry you got some major boo-boo's going on over there. NewMama did an excellent job is nursing you.
Hope you're feeling better real soon. Maybe from now on, you should be the Cabana Boy!
Happy Father's Day!
Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
